· Version española · ZOOM is a six-level course which has been developed for students from 1st to 6th levels of primary. It is communicative, innovative and flexible, so that it can be used as easily by teachers who have two hours of English per week, as those who have six. ZOOM encourages student autonomy. Its spiral syllabus, which returns to the same themes, helps students to consolidate and expand the knowledge they acquire, while satisfying the demands of the different age groups. It is a well thought-out programme which focuses on reading skills and current reading methodology right from the first cycle. From the second cycle on, it also encourages a basic awareness of grammar, in order to ease the path into ESO. The whole course takes into account the multicultural environment of many classrooms. There is a different mascot in each level of ZOOM to guide the student through the course and provide a link with the student’s own world. ZOOM has been developed with the help of ideas and opinions of hundreds of primary teachers from around the country, guaranteeing its success in the classroom. It includes the presentation posters from each unit, the songs, the readers, interactive activities and more. · Dedicated web page: Lots of interactive resources for teachers and students. · Teacher's Book: Includes the reproduction of the Student's Book and the Activity Book in colour. Also includes a resource bank with photocopiable pages of extra activities for mixed ability groups and/or immigrant children. · Posters: Posters for the classroom that present the vocabulary and key structures. · DVD: Includes vocabulary activities, extra songs and more. · Dedicated web page: Lots of interactive resources for teachers and students.
